39 Week Doctor's Appointment

I have come to the conclusion I am going to be pregnant the rest of my life. Grant is never going to come out. I went back to the doctor today and I am still only dilated 1 cm. He said he would let me go about a week to a week and a 1/2 over due before he would consider inducing me. He said he would rather Grant decide when he is ready than us. I totally understand his reasoning and I totally agree with it but, I am just beyond ready. I have started having braxton contractions. I guess this is my bodies way of telling me it is getting ready. They don't hurt, they are just uncomfortable. Well I guess that is all for now. Hopefully next time I am on here I will have a baby to write about.

38 Week Doctor's Appointment

Well... I guess Grant does not want to come anytime soon. I am still only dilated 1 cm however, his head has dropped more. The doctor said 50% I will not go into labor in the next week. I am so ready for him to get here. I told Jason that I figure Grant will wait until I set down to eat Thanksgiving dinner and decide he is ready. All I have to say is I am taking my plate of food with me!

Happy Birthday Jason!

Today is Jason's birthday. He got to spend it getting up early for a doctors appointment. I now know why I am in the bathroom every 5 minutes. Grant's head is right on top of my pelvic bone. Dr. Brown was surprised that I had not been complaining I was uncomfortable. I have dilated 1 cm. YAY!!! I know, I know I still have a LONG way to go but, its a start.

Doctor's Appointment

I went back to the doctor today. Grant weighs 5 lbs 15 oz. Dr. Brown was very happy with how much he had grown in the past 4 weeks. He had gained 2 lbs 3 oz. The doctor is convinced he will come early. I have 80% effaced. YAY!!! I have gained a total of 27 lbs and boy can I feel it. I get out of breath walking, going up or down stairs, ect... I'm getting to the point now where I am uncomfortable all the time.

No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Yes, that is my Christmas tree in the back ground and yes, it is only November 4th. As most of you know I am a planner. I like to plan everything out. We decided to go ahead and put up all our Christmas stuff that way if Mr. Grant decides to come early everything is done.
