Lights, Lights and More Lights

Jason and I took Grant to see George Jones Christmas lights tonight. He loved them. He had the biggest grin on his face. He squealed with excitement. Thanks Uncle Mike. :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Playing before lunch...

Grant's 1st Thanksgiving. (Mac and Cheese, Dressing, "Stuffing" (It's a Northern thing), Turkey, Mash Potato's and Cream Corn)

Dance Baby Dance

Grant loves to dance. Every time Jason Aldean's song "Big Green Tractor" comes on the TV or radio he stops what he is doing and starts dancing. It is the cutest thing ever.

(Sorry these videos are sideways. If anyone knows how to rotate them please let me know.)

Grant has 8 1/2 teeth (4 on top, 4 1/2 on bottom). He is going for his 2nd hair cut next week. Actually he should have gone a few weeks ago but, I was trying to stretch it out so he would look handsome for Thanksgiving and his 1st birthday party. YES, I said his 1st birthday party. I can hardly believe it myself. My little baby is turning 1! :( This past year has gone by so fast. My little baby is also starting to take steps on his own. He will talk from the ottoman to the couch or chair. The other day he took about 10 steps all by himself. He will walking very very soon. Grant has a fascination with animals. He just lights up when he see's them. He is always wanting to play with our 2 dogs however, they don't want anything to do with him. When they see him coming toward them they take off running. He has yet to master the whole gentle concept yet. So when he gets excited he swings his arms around and hits them. However him and Jeter have this new thing going on now where they will "talk" to each other. Grant will make a yelling noise and Jeter will howl back at him. They do this multiple times a day. I have to pick Jeter up and put him in another room just to get them to stop because it gets VERY loud and wakes up Jason.
Grant also has a love of climbing now too. He will climb on just about anything, chairs, couches, stairs, ottomans, toys, dogs, you name it and he has probably tried to climb it. This past weekend we moved all my office furniture upstairs to our bonus and turned my old office into Grant's Play Room. Grant loves it. He will go in there and play all by himself. Its nice because he can have all his toys out and all I have to do is shut the door and not have to see all the mess. :)
