Time flies when your having fun!

Grant had a doctors appointment today. He weighed in at 13 lbs 10 ozs and 25 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for his weight and 75th for his height. He is growing like a weed. Everyone always told me time flies when you have kids and now I know exactly what they meant.

I was going through Grant's closet yesterday, pulling out the stuff that he no longer can wear. At just 3 months old he has already outgrown 2 boxes full of clothes. I almost started crying when I saw some of the clothes. They were so tiny.

We are going Sunday to have Grant's 3 month pictures taken. I can't wait. I will post them asap. Until then...

2 Months Old!!!

2 Month Check Up

It's official... Grant is 2 months old. We went for his 2 month check up today. He weighs a whooping 12 lbs 2 ozs and is 22 7/8 inches long. He is in the 60th percentile for his weight and 50th percentile for his height. You would never know by looking at him today that when he was in the womb he measured small. Funny how things change. My chunky monkey also had to get 2 shots today. (I think it hurt me more than it hurt him.) He got 1 in each thigh. Before they gave him his shots they gave him some sugar water. Boy oh boy did he like that. He was sucking on his pacifier like there was no tomorrow. The doctor was very impressed with his strength. She laid him on his stomach and tried to turn his head toward the wall to see if he could turn it back but, he was not having none of that. She said he was right on track where he should be. We go back in April 2 for his 4 month check up.
