Melt Down

Grant went for his 15 month check up this morning. Needless to say it did not go as planned. As we waited in the waiting room Grant played and was in the best little mood. However that soon changed. As soon as they called his name to come back he had a little melt down. As Jason carried him back he screamed, he yelled, he kicked, he through himself back. It was not a pretty site. The poor nurse tried to weigh him but, he was not having it so she gave up. In the room she tried to measure him but like before he was not having that either. She ended up measuring him at 30 1/2" long, give or take. (Not sure how accurate that is because at his 12 month check up that's what he measured.) After the nurse left the room he settled down. Doctor White came in Grant ran straight over to Daddy. After a few minutes in the room he got used to her. He smiled, laughed and flirted with her. She said he is right on track with other 15 month olds. She was able to see his two upper teeth starting to break through (#13 and 14). My poor baby ended up having to get 2 shots. :(
